“Perceptions, Part 3”

The third chapter of the "Perceptions" storyline puts Spider-Man in seriously dangerous company, as Todd McFarlane's cover depicts the Web-Head caught between the feral menace of Wendigo — snarling, white-maned, and lunging with claws bared — and a white-suited figure swooping in from behind, with Wolverine's distinctive yellow-and-blue costume visible in the mix. McFarlane's fluid, kinetic linework gives the forest setting a genuinely unsettling atmosphere, making this a striking entry in one of 1991's most ambitious Spider-Man arcs. A must for fans of the era's bold, character-packed storytelling.
