The painted cover by Ashley Wood is genuinely haunting — a massive, battle-worn figure looms out of the murk, clutching an ornate double-bladed axe while a pale moon glows behind him, the whole image drenched in grime and shadow that perfectly captures the medieval horror tone of Spawn: The Dark Ages.
