The Fates pull information out of Spawn until they learn his full origin. Spawn uses his powers to teleport back to Cogliostro who begins to train him. Rivalen's wife dies and, in his grief, he seriously starts to put the screws to the people of Rhynn. Spawn decides to lead his former people against their oppressor.
