Spawn dominates this striking 2000 Image cover, cloaked in his massive red cape and dark necroplasmic armor as a fiery, planet-like inferno blazes behind him — chains coiled at his side and what appears to be a monstrous creature crouching at his left. Cover pencils by Greg Capullo and inks by Todd McFarlane combine to give the Hellspawn an imposing, otherworldly presence that feels every bit as intense as the story title, "Crack in the Foundation," promises.
