Space Adventures #40

This issue features two main stories. "The Stolen Hero" follows the renowned space explorer Bridewell, whose sudden disappearance causes hysteria among the public; he is last seen being abducted by a mysterious cloud on an alien world. In the Captain Atom story, military officials investigate a rocket misfire at Canageral that nearly kills a young boy, and Captain Atom must uncover whether the accident was deliberate sabotage and locate the responsible party before more lives are lost.
