# Out of This World #9 This issue is an anthology containing at least two stories. "Out of This World" follows a newspaper reporter who attends a spiritualist séance to expose a faker named Chandel, only to discover a shadowy figure in the seance room that the reporter had previously seen, leading to an investigation of the con artist's claims. "Reservoir Rescue" is a prose story about two fishing enthusiasts who discover an underground chamber filled with Revolutionary War-era artifacts and weapons while exploring beneath an old bridge at a city reservoir, and encounter a mysterious noise that forces them to flee without fully investigating the discovery. The issue also includes "Out of This World" (continued), a Western tale in which a gunfighter named Tom Molton pursues a slow-draw opponent, only to find himself mysteriously drawn to his own weapon during the confrontation.
