Space Action #3 contains multiple science fiction stories. In one tale, a space crew led by Rick encounters a meteor shower that threatens their vessel, forcing them to navigate past the gravitational pull while racing toward a mysterious planet. Another story features characters named Cosmo and Naphtali who escape from Mars and encounter the villain Deuel, who has discovered rays to control meteorites and plans to use them to destroy Earth and other worlds to achieve dominion over the galaxy. On the criminal planet Callisto, outlaws led by Zorka attempt to break into an arsenal to steal disintegrator guns, planning to seize control of the space station and establish an empire of crime throughout the galaxy.
