Sonic Boom #2
Archie's Sonic Boom #2 (2015) lays out the fun in comic-book trading-card style, with Sonic himself leaping front and center cracking with electric energy, while a vertical panel spotlights the villains — a glowering Eggman and a hulking robot — and smaller frames showcase Knuckles flexing his brute strength and Sticks looking gleefully unhinged. Pat Spaziante's cover design is cheerful and cleverly organized, practically shouting the cast lineup at you. With Ian Flynn writing and Evan Stanley on art, "Knuckleduster" promises the kind of fast, funny adventure that made this Sega-inspired series a treat for fans of the TV show and games alike.
