About the series
In 2014, Archie Comics launched Sonic Boom, an 11-issue series spun from the animated show of the same name. Writers Ian Flynn, Bill Freiberger, and Sam Sandak Freiberger, alongside artists Ryan Jampole, Jennifer Hernandez, and Evan Stanley, brought a lighter, more comedic tone to Sonic, Sticks, Amy, Knuckles, and Tails. This short-lived but energetic run stands out for leaning into the characters' slapstick chemistry and exploring a distinct corner of the Sonic universe.
