Solo Avengers #12

This November 1988 Marvel anthology puts Hawkeye front and center, bow drawn as he faces down a towering, scaly Abomination who looms over him with unmistakable menace — a dramatically lopsided matchup that the cover tagline "Here Comes the Hulk-Bustin' Abomination!" sells perfectly. A inset panel teases the second feature, spotlighting Yellowjacket in flight against a bold yellow-and-black costume. Cover art by Mike Machlan and Al Milgrom frames the whole thing with clean, punchy energy that's very much of its era.
