Solo Avengers #13

This December 1988 Marvel anthology delivers exactly what the cover promises — two titanic tales for the price of one. On the left, Wonder Man squares off face-to-face with a massive yellow brute amid crumbling rubble in a "Holocaust in Hollywood," while on the right, a cool and collected Hawkeye stands bow-drawn in his purple costume, ready for "A Battle with the Bullet Biker." Jackson Guice and Bob Layton's split-cover composition does a great job showcasing both Avengers at their most determined, making this a satisfying pick for fans of either hero.
