In "The Murder of Jinny Baloney," Bull Baloney turns to the enigmatic Midnight to uncover the truth behind his wife’s murder, setting the hero on a high-stakes chase through the skies. Black X and his partner Batu race to stop a Nazi spy ring operating right under America's nose—one that's been sinking troop transports in New York Harbor by relaying their positions through an unlikely channel: late-night radio request dedications. When Black X realizes the enemy has been hiding in plain sight on the airwaves all along, he must expose the operation and neutralize the threat before another ship goes down.
In "Little Atmos Fear," the mischievous Atmos Fear—whose powers let him shift between scorching heat and freezing cold—finds himself outwitted by the clever Daffy, who ropes him into helping with household chores. With a mix of slapstick humor and clever problem-solving, the two navigate the wild extremes of his abilities in a lighthearted 1943 sports-comedy short.
Ki Kane, a moonshine-loving hillbilly from the South, rolls into Baltimore looking for some local hooch—but his violent encounters with a railroad detective and a mysterious professor quickly draw the attention of rookie officer Rankin. When Kane's mysterious resilience (he bounces like rubber whenever he's hit) and a string of murders coincide with a bank robbery, Rankin must track down the culprit and discover what's really making this brute so hard to stop. A wild mix of crime, science gone wrong, and slapstick action that'll keep you guessing right up to the final reveal.
Yankee Eagle finds himself captured in the remote hills of Kwang Chung and brought before Yan Chi, the High Priest who guards a sacred shrine believed to control a sleeping god of war. When the eagle learns that Japanese forces are threatening the region, he must convince the priest that danger is real—but the High Priest trusts only in an ancient sign: doves that will take flight when the god awakens. Yankee Eagle devises a clever plan to trigger that sign and rally the hill warriors to defend their homeland.
