Shutter #10

Leila del Duca's cover for Shutter #10 is a striking pop-art burst of magenta, yellow, and blue — a dark-haired woman tumbles and strains at its center, her face gripped by unseen hands, while fractured versions of herself appear suspended and distressed in the surrounding panels. The fractured, kaleidoscopic composition perfectly suits a story titled "It's Only a Dream," hinting at a reality that may be coming apart at the seams. Joe Keatinge, del Duca, Owen Gieni, and John Workman were producing some genuinely inventive work at Image in 2015, and this issue looks like no exception.
