Two figures in matching dark jackets scramble urgently across a billowing, wind-tossed bed — its ornate wooden frame tangled with rope and scattered with glittering purple crystals — while a small winged creature hovers in the upper corner amid a moody violet sky. The story title "Little Kate in Slumberland" promises something dreamily surreal, and Leila del Duca's cover art — brought to vivid life with Owen Gieni's rich coloring — perfectly captures that blend of whimsy and tension that makes Shutter so distinctive. Joe Keatinge and del Duca's series continues to deliver one of 2015's most imaginatively designed worlds, and this eleventh issue looks like no exception.
