DC's Showcase series turns its spotlight on Manhunter 2070 in this 1970 installment, featuring a striking cover by Mike Sekowsky and Dick Giordano. Against a vivid orange space backdrop strewn with asteroids and grave markers, a yellow-suited figure stands resolute, his speech balloon declaring "You can rest easy now, Dad — I got them all — every last one of them!" It's a haunting, atmospheric image that sets a tone of grim resolution in the far future, and at 15 cents, this was an intriguing showcase for one of DC's more unconventional science-fiction heroes.
