In "Starchild," Ilongo investigates a mysterious meteor that crashes into the ocean—only to witness it hatch into a colossal, tentacled sea monster with a giant eye in its mouth, now dubbed the Starchild. As the creature attacks the city of Manakara, Ilongo summons Dangard Ace to battle, but the fight takes a sudden turn when the Starchild evolves mid-battle, sprouting wings and flying off. Meanwhile, in Japan, Genji faces a new threat of his own.
