Shadowpact #10

The Shadowpact has a vacancy — and the cover of issue #10 (April 2007) makes that perfectly clear, with a horned blue demon crouching over a fallen red-caped figure while a speech bubble pointedly asks, "Anybody wanna join?" Surrounding this tense centerpiece is a striking assemblage of the team's supernatural cast, including a fishnet-clad sorceress, a cloaked figure, a skeletal specter, a red-skinned villain lurking in the background, and several other mystical characters reacting with alarm. Cover artists Tom Derenick and Wayne Faucher pack the scene with personality and drama, setting the stage for part two of writer Bill Willingham's "Demon Triptych" storyline.
