Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos charge headlong into action on this November 1969 Marvel cover, with a battle-cry of "WAH-HOO" punctuating the scene as Fury himself storms forward, submachine gun in hand, while his squad of soldiers pushes through smoke and rubble behind him. A vignette at the bottom hints at a North African setting, promising — as the cover boldly declares — "the strangest battle-thriller of the year" straight out of the steaming Sahara.
