“Smugglar-Blues”

"Smugglar-Blues" is a standout entry in the Seriemagasinet extra series, blending classic detective intrigue with a dark, atmospheric tone. Written by Arthur Conan Doyle and Jim Stenstrum, and illustrated by Noly Panaligan with inks by the same, the story follows Dr. Watson as he returns from the Afghan war and moves in with Sherlock Holmes at 221B Baker Street—only to be drawn into a chilling murder case involving two American victims and the cryptic word "Rache" scrawled in blood. The cover by Noly Panaligan captures the story’s moody intensity, making this 1991 issue a must-have for fans of early Scandinavian comic adaptations.
