Young idealist Heidi Holliday breaks into the house of rich popstar Fletcher Bell. She wants him to help the poor and the homeless. After being arrested, she is bailed out by Jay Endicott, who decides to help by contacting Fletcher Bell. When the popstar is kidnapped by the Maltese gang, Heidi's network of homeless people locates their hideout and enables Endicott to free him.
