Dr. Pat makes a daring parachute jump onto Sky Peak, in order to treat an injured member of a geological expedition. That man is trapped on a ledge below the peak, and reluctantly his brother (astounded that she is a woman, and a fearless one at that) lowers her down. While being pulled back up she is attacked by an eagle, and has the gumption to throw a bottle of ammonia salts in its face. Later, Pat remembers how she came to be a doctor, and of how her future husband tried to get her to give it up. She refused and has been committed to her work one hundred per cent ever since.
