“The Man Who Could Read Wonder Woman's Mind!”

In "The Man Who Could Read Wonder Woman's Mind!", Jim takes a group of city kids on a woods vacation, where Streak the dog repeatedly saves Stan Richards from danger—only for Stan to lash out at the animal, both verbally and physically. When a gang of crooks finally knocks Streak unconscious, Stan must face the consequences of his cruelty and find a way to make amends. Written by Robert Kanigher and illustrated by John Giunta, with a cover by Harry Peter, this 1949 issue blends adventure and moral reflection in a quietly powerful story.
