Even though they have sworn off their super heroic lives, the members of Excelsior decide to put on their costumes one last time to track down the Runaways (and make a million bucks doing it). Nico uses a spell to learn whether the future Gertie who just showed up in their lair and promptly died was telling the truth. They catch a glimpse of the future where a hero turned villain named Victorious kills all of Earth's heroes. The Runaways track down Victor Mancha at his school and start a fight. Just as they knock him out, Excelsior shows up.
