“The Fire, the Friend, and the Foe!”

Rom Spaceknight #4 brings the heat — literally — as the cover by Al Milgrom plunges the silver Spaceknight into a blazing mid-air clash with the massive, flame-wreathed Firefall, while human figures scatter on the ground far below. The tagline "Fear is… Firefall!" sets the stakes perfectly, and the small Spider-Man corner box is a nice reminder that this 1980 Marvel universe is gloriously interconnected. Writer Bill Mantlo and artist Sal Buscema deliver a story framed by one of the most visually dramatic covers in the series' early run.
