Robin II #4
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe four-issue miniseries Robin II: The Joker's Wild! reaches its conclusion here, with a cover by penciller Kevin Maguire and inker Dick Giordano that crackles with dangerous energy. The Joker looms large atop what appears to be a rooftop scaffolding, brandishing a grinning novelty mallet while pink smoke billows around him — and Robin hangs precariously below, caught in an extremely precarious position among the pipes. It's a vivid, slightly off-kilter composition that captures the Clown Prince of Crime at his most theatrical, with writer Chuck Dixon, artist Tom Lyle, and inker Bob Smith delivering the interior goods in this 1992 DC gem.
