“Strange Company”

In "Strange Company," Robin teams up with the enigmatic Lady Shiva and the resourceful Clyde in a high-stakes mission across Hong Kong, tracking a dangerous weapon to its source. As they close in on Sir Edmund’s downtown headquarters, the tension builds—both from the looming threat and Lady Shiva’s relentless training of Robin. Written by Chuck Dixon and illustrated by Tom Lyle, with inks by Bob Smith, colors by Adrienne Roy, and letters by Tim Harkins, this 1991 issue delivers sharp pacing and intense atmosphere. The cover, a striking piece by Brian Bolland, captures the trio’s uneasy alliance in silhouette against a neon-lit skyline.
