Part of DC's 2006 Infinite Crisis crossover event, this issue of Robin carries the striking subtitle "The Tears of a Clone" and features a cover by Scott McDaniel and Andy Owens that says plenty before you even crack the spine. Looming large in the background is a green-skinned, S-symbol-bearing figure — unmistakably a Superman clone — while Robin, Superboy (or a similar caped figure), Beast Boy, and Speedy charge forward into what appear to be the barrels of massive weaponized machines closing in from both sides. With the Teen Titans guest-starring alongside Tim Drake and a creative team of Bill Willingham, Bill Williams, McDaniel, and Owens driving the story, this is a tense, visually charged chapter that captures the sprawling ambition of the Infinite Crisis era at its peak.
