Against a brick wall plastered with a "Miss Annie Oakley" Wild West show poster, a rifle-wielding woman in frontier clothing bears down on a grinning, red-coated British soldier sprawled on the ground amid scattered shell casings. The contrast between the two fighters — her determined aggression, his almost amused defiance — crackles with personality, and Bryan Hitch's cover linework gives the whole scene a wonderfully kinetic, period-spanning energy. Geoff Johns and Hitch's Redcoat continues to look like one of Image's most entertaining adventures of 2025.
