Red Sonja #17
In "The Return of Kulan Gath Part Six: The Fall," Red Sonja faces off against the warrior Borat-Na Fori, only to be drawn into a far darker conflict when the ancient god Kaleval intervenes—only to be slain and devoured by the dark god. With Borat-Na Fori defeated, Sonja and her allies barely escape as the rift Kulan Gath’s arrival opens tears through reality. Written by Michael Avon Oeming and illustrated with fierce detail by Mel Rubi—whose dynamic art defines the cover—this pivotal issue marks a turning point in the saga, with the return of the dreaded sorcerer Kulan Gath looming ever closer.
