Red Hulk #6

History

The Red Hulk (2025) ongoing series was conceived by writer Benjamin Percy as a war-genre book nested inside Marvel's One World Under Doom publishing event, with Percy pitching a story in which Thunderbolt Ross is kidnapped by Doctor Doom and pressed into a military 'Think Tank' prison. Percy reunited with artist Geoff Shaw — their prior collaboration being the 'Sabretooth War' arc in Wolverine (2020) and a Wolverine/Ghost Rider crossover — and editor Mark Paniccia guided the series from the outset with an intentionally gritty, Cold War-paranoia register. The series launched in February 2025 as one of the flagship One World Under Doom tie-ins, timed to coincide with the Red Hulk's MCU debut in Captain America: Brave New World.

• Tamika Bowden (Wildstreak) returns after roughly 19 years: originally created by Tom DeFalco and Herb Trimpe in Fantastic Four Annual #26 (1993), her only prior appearances were in the 1990s and during the 2006 Civil War storyline; Red Hulk #6 marks her re-introduction into the Marvel Universe.
