Jack and his fiancee Betsy live in a resort town. Jack is happy with his life as a fisherman but Betsy admires the rich summer visitors. Wealthy Vernon is attracted to Betsy but she rejects his lecherous advances. Georgia, Vernon’s equally rich friend, tries to seduce Jack but their boat is sunk in a storm: Betsy and Vernon rescue them. Betsy and Jack realise they are meant for each other, as do Georgia and Vernon.
