Rat Queens #7

Three of the Rat Queens — a sword-wielding dwarf in teal armor, a dark-haired elf in red, and a blonde elf crouching above — are surrounded by a mass of writhing tentacles, their expressions urgent and battle-ready. Most striking is the glowing white silhouette of a fourth teammate standing conspicuously absent at the center of the composition, a clever visual mystery that Owen Gieni renders with real dramatic punch. This 2018 Image series continues to deliver fantasy action with genuine personality, and issue #7 makes it clear that not everyone on the team is accounted for.
