Promising more "Anecdotes from the Annals of the Askewniverse," this third issue from Dark Horse spotlights Elias, whose name blazes in bold yellow letters above a wonderfully minimalist figure sporting a golden horned Viking helmet with wide, expressive eyes peering out from beneath it. The playful, graphic cover design by Mark Gonyea sets a cheerful, slightly absurdist tone that fits perfectly with Kevin Smith and Tango's story, "Pious Elias & The Crypto Kid." If you've got a soft spot for Smith's Jersey-flavored universe, this one looks like a delightful detour.
