Punisher War Journal #23
In "Jigsaw Part 6," Frank Castle faces his relentless nemesis Jigsaw in a brutal, high-stakes confrontation that tests his unyielding code. With help from Bridge and SHIELD operatives—including a pivotal moment where a young man confronts his tormentor—Frank chooses justice over vengeance, surrendering to custody rather than taking a life. Written by Matt Fraction and Rick Remender and illustrated with gritty precision by Howard Chaykin, this issue delivers a tense, morally charged chapter in the Punisher's war journal, with a striking cover by Alex Maleev.

The Punisher and Bridge take down the Wrecking Crew with a little help from Bridge's SHIELD beauties and the Rhino. Frank has another showdown with his archenemy Jigsaw but, even with the scarred madman at his mercy, refuses to kill his old foe. Frank remands himself back into SHIELD custody. Bridge commends SHIELD agent Lynn Michaels for helping to orchestrate the whole scenario. Lynn takes Ian out of his cell and brings him to see Jigsaw. She allows the young man whose mind was warped by the villain to shoot his former mentor.
