Punch Comics #12

This anthology issue contains two main stories. The first follows a detective investigating a frame-up where an innocent man named Kelly is accused of murder, with the detective eventually proving Kelly's innocence by uncovering evidence of a rigged gun. The second story features Captain Glory, a patriotic hero who uncovers wartime sabotage involving union delegates and a mine explosion, ultimately exposing traitors to his country before departing for Washington. A comedic backup story shows two bumbling characters getting caught up in chaos involving rats, cheese, rat poison, and a series of escalating mishaps.
