Prophet #2

From Extreme Studios' early days at Image, Prophet #2 (November 1993) delivers a cover that's pure kinetic energy — two fierce combatants launching through the air above a pine-tree skyline, blades raised and energy weapons blazing. Prophet himself charges forward in his red vest and headband, combat knife in hand, while a wild-haired opponent in purple and gold armor meets him head-on with glowing green sci-fi weaponry. The cover by Rob Liefeld (pencils) and Dan Panosian (inks) captures that bold, aggressive early-'90s Image spirit that made the line impossible to ignore.
