Proof #28
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeIssue #28 kicks off the "Countdown to Endangered" arc with a hauntingly atmospheric cover by Riley Rossmo — a brooding, grey-haired bearded figure dominates the foreground, eyes closed, surrounded by swirling red roses and thorned vines, while a crumbling skull looms overhead in a haze of decay. The stark red-and-white palette gives the whole image a mournful, elegiac weight that feels fitting for a series titled "The Expression of Emotions in Man and Animals." Alex Grecian and Rossmo's Proof continues to be one of Image's most visually distinctive books, and this issue signals that something significant is building.
