The tagline says it all — "If you believe in monsters, you need… Proof." Issue #17 of this Image series presents a deeply unsettling cover by Riley Rossmo: a sea of contorted, barely clothed figures crowds a darkened street, with a heavyset white-haired woman standing eerily calm at the center of the chaos, blood on her face and clothing. The sheer density of writhing bodies and distorted expressions makes this 2009 entry in the "Goatsucker!" arc feel like something has gone very, very wrong for the citizens of wherever these people call home.
