Terry and Rachel Dodson's cover for issue #3 puts Leia front and center in her white outfit and signature buns, blaster raised and ready, with a fellow Rebel fighter armed and at her back — and R2-D2 rolling steadily alongside them through a shadowy cave passage. It's a confident, action-ready image that captures Leia not as a diplomat waiting to be rescued, but as someone very much driving the mission herself.
