Power Man #57
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePower Man and Iron Fist face an enormous threat in issue #57 — the cover by Bob Layton puts the duo squarely in the crushing grip of the Living Monolith, whose massive face and outstretched hand dwarf the heroes as they fight back alongside the Uncanny X-Men, with Storm visible among the group. It's a genuinely thrilling image: Power Man, Iron Fist, and mutant allies clustered together mid-battle against a cosmic-scaled villain, all rendered with Layton's confident linework. "Pharaohs on Broadway!" promises a story as bold as its cover, and for 40 cents in 1979, this Marvel team-up was quite the deal.
