Popeye throws a haymaker at a massive, sweating bruiser in polka-dot trunks on this bright, energetic cover from Vince Musacchia — colorful stars exploding outward as the size difference between the two fighters makes the matchup look hilariously lopsided. IDW's 2013 run of Popeye continues to deliver the spirit of classic cartoon fisticuffs, and with Roger Langridge writing and Ken Wheaton on art duties inside, issue #10's story "American Toar" promises the kind of scrappy, good-humored adventure the series does so well.
