“Who Put the Overalls in Mrs. Murphy's Chowder?”

In "Who Put the Overalls in Mrs. Murphy's Chowder?", a tragic violinist transformed by loss and vengeance takes a dark turn after a life-altering accident, only to be confronted by Manhunter’s sudden intervention. With Pete Riss handling both pencils and inks, the story unfolds with a haunting blend of melodrama and mystery, while Jack Cole’s cover captures the eerie, off-kilter tone of the tale.

An embittered violinist, who was hit by a truck and lost his hand, seeks revenge on the doctor who amputated his hand, replacing it with a hook. He takes to murder and kidnapping, but Manhunter's "mighty blow" jolted the violinist to reality, causing him to realize the error of his ways, and he becomes a conductor again.
