Part of Gail Simone's six-issue DC miniseries, this 2018 installment finds Plastic Man sharing cocktails at what looks like a very lively superhero party — he's sipping a "Green Lantini" with a blonde companion while Batgirl leaps into action in the background and Wonder Woman watches from the mezzanine above. Emanuela Lupacchino and Ray McCarthy deliver a cover that balances breezy social charm with the chaos of a crowded venue, perfectly capturing the series' knack for blending humor with superhero spectacle. With Adriana Melo and Kelly Fitzpatrick handling the interiors, issue four of Plastic Man looks like a genuinely fun read.
