Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham #17
In "Pig Out!", the ever-hungry Fat Cat’s dramatic river plunge accidentally drains the entire river, drawing the attention of a lonely, kind-hearted intern named Bunsen. When Fat Cat turns hostile, Spider-Ham springs into action—only to find himself dodging not one, but two more of his feline foes. With the Pig-Signal calling him to prison duty, Spider-Ham must stop a breakout by Ducktor Doom and Dragon-Lassy, all while the Fat Cats face a surprising choice: go straight or stay on the menu. Written by Mike Carlin and brought to life by Joe Albelo’s dynamic art—inked by Pierre Fournier, colored by Julianna Ferriter, and lettered by Janice Chiang—this 1987 adventure blends slapstick chaos with heart, all wrapped in Albelo’s vibrant cover.

Fat Cat tries to throw himself in the river, but the splash empties it, and attracts the attention of Bunsen, who tries to befriend him, but Fat Cat turns mean. Spider-Ham saves Bunsen, but they run into two more Fat Cats. Spider-Ham and the interns evade the cats, and head for a restaurant, but the Pig-Signal summons our hero to the prison, where the cats are planning to break in so they can eat and be left alone. Spider-Ham prepares to capture them, but Ducktor Doom, Dragon-Lassy, and other villains are breaking out, so he stops them, and the cats decide to go straight.
