In "Hobo-Hemia!" from Pep Comics #109, Jughead finds himself tangled in a series of increasingly absurd requests from a charmingly persistent hobo—starting with a dime for coffee, escalating to a full hamburger, and culminating in a demand for $5, all justified by the hobo’s claim of being a big tipper. Written with classic 1955 humor, the story captures Jughead’s reluctant generosity in a delightfully silly, deadpan exchange that’s pure, unadulterated comic charm.
