Archie takes center stage at School Talent Nite on this February 1969 cover, strumming a ukulele in a red coat and channeling his best "Tiny" Tim impression — complete with long dark hair and a high-stepping performance style — while a delighted crowd looks on and a fellow student plays guitar nearby. Betty and Veronica peek out from behind the curtain wondering aloud why he's calling himself "Tiny," with one dryly answering, "He must be referring to his talent!" Cover pencils by Dan DeCarlo and inks by Rudy Lapick give the whole scene that warm, lively Riverdale energy that made Pep such a fun read throughout the decade.
