Part of DC's 2006 Infinite Crisis crossover, this issue of Outsiders carries the tagline "Sisterhood is Powerful!" — and the cover by Daniel Acuña delivers on that promise with two super-powered women locked in a fierce cosmic confrontation, one unleashing a blinding energy blast while the other swoops in with cape flaring against a backdrop of stars and a fiery planetary surface. The tension between the two figures crackles with real intensity, making it clear that whatever "Detour" the team has taken, it's anything but a quiet one. Jen Van Meter scripts, with interior art from Matthew Clark and Art Thibert rounding out a solid creative lineup.
