In "The Incredible Giants," a 1984 Alan Class comic, two prospectors stumble upon a meteorite brimming with diamonds—only to meet a sudden end when a confrontation turns deadly. The story takes a surreal turn when the meteor cracks open to reveal a winged space traveler from Jupiter, his mechanical chest box humming with alien purpose. Dick Giordano handles both art and inks, while Charles Nicholas and Rocco Mastroserio bring the otherworldly cover to life.
