About the series
From 1961 to the present, Outer Space is a British anthology series from Alan Class that collects short, imaginative science fiction tales originally produced for the American market. The series is most strongly associated with the work of writer Joe Gill and artists Bill Molno, Rocco "Rocke" Mastroserio, and Steve Ditko, whose eerie, kinetic visuals define its eerie, cosmic tone. Spanning just ten issues, it stands as a compact but vital document of early-1960s space-age comics, preserving the pulp wonder and Cold War anxieties of the era.
