When Duboisi attempts to smuggle the sacred idols out of the village with dynamite at the cave mouth, Nyoka exposes his greed to the Huala people and prevents his escape, ultimately leading to his capture and the recovery of the stolen artifacts.
Nyoka rescues five survivors from a plane crash and nurses them back to health in the jungle, but when one of the party kills a sacred white elephant, the entire group faces a deadly trial by cobra ordered by King Ungasu. Drawing on her knowledge of an impending solar eclipse, Nyoka must convince the king of her magical powers to save them all from execution.
When white visitors start vanishing into the mysterious Valley of Shining Stones, Nyoka grows concerned enough to venture into the treacherous gorge herself—only to discover that a ruthless man named Dubois has trapped the missing expeditions as forced labor, mining a fortune in jewels hidden within the cliff walls. With the captives facing certain death and Dubois holding all the cards, Nyoka must find a way to turn his own greed against him before the valley becomes everyone's final resting place.
Dr. Danar arrives at a remote village to find it mysteriously abandoned, only to discover that a charlatan posing as the white god Kawa has lured the inhabitants into a disease-ridden swamp—and he suspects the scheme hides something far more sinister. Racing against time and the drums of superstition, Danar must outwit the fraud and his armed followers to save the villagers and uncover what Kawa's true target really is.
In "Nyoka and the Orphan," Nyoka the Jungle Girl comes across a lost young chimp separated from its parents, setting out to reunite the little one with its family before danger or chaos takes hold. With her usual blend of courage and compassion, she navigates the wilds of the jungle, determined to find a safe path home.
